Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, *Has God really said, 'You shall not eat of any tree of the garden?'*


The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his Messiah, saying,


Don't lay in wait, wicked man, against the habitation of the righteous. Don't destroy his resting place:


But the Perushim went out, and conspired against him, how they might destroy him.


You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehinnom?


It was now two days before the feast of the Pesach and the matzah, and the chief Kohanim and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception, and kill him.


So from that day forward they took counsel that they might put him to death.


and said, *Full of all deceit and all cunning, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
