Shlomo slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rechav`am his son reigned in his place.


Rechav`am slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and his mother's name was Na`amah the `Ammonite. Aviyam his son reigned in his place.


It happened, when the kingdom of Rechav`am was established, and he was strong, that he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Yisra'el with him.


There were gathered to him worthless men, base fellows, who strengthened themselves against Rechav`am the son of Shlomo, when Rechav`am was young and tender-hearted, and could not withstand them.


Shlomo slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rechav`am his son reigned in his place.


Asa became the father of Yehoshafat. Yehoshafat became the father of Yoram. Yoram became the father of `Uzziyah.


There was in the days of Herod, the king of Yehudah, a certain Kohen named Zekharyah, of the priestly division of Aviyah. He had a wife of the daughters of Aharon, and her name was Elisheva.
