It was so, when Eliyahu heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. Behold, there came a voice to him, and said, What are you doing here, Eliyahu?
He came there to a cave, and lodged there; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said to him, What are you doing here, Eliyahu?
Then the chief Kohanim, the scribes, and the elders of the people were gathered together in the court of the Kohen Gadol, who was called Kayafa.
But Kefa followed him from a distance, to the court of the Kohen Gadol, and entered in and sat with the officers, to see the end.
Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.*
As Kefa was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the Kohen Gadol came,
Being in agony he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.
