The king answered the man of God, Entreat now the favor of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. The man of God entreated the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.


Thus says the Lord GOD: Because the Pelishtim have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual enmity;


therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.


But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,


Yeshua said, *Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing.* Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.


*But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,


But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Elyon; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.

Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse.


We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.


Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
