You shall serve the LORD your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from your midst.


Turn to the law and to the testimony! If they don't speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.


Leave your fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let your widows trust in me.


But he answered, *It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'*


*Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?'


He said to them, *When I sent you out without purse, and wallet, and shoes, did you lack anything?* They said, *Nothing.*


for it is written, 'He will give his angels charge concerning you, to guard you;'


The devil said to him, *If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.*


Yeshua answered him, *Get behind me Hasatan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'*


And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the spoken word of God;


He humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you didn't know, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD does man live.
