I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I don't forget your mitzvot.


All we like sheep have gone astray; everyone has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.


In the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South, and in the land of Binyamin, and in the places about Yerushalayim, and in the cities of Yehudah, shall the flocks again pass under the hands of him who numbers them, says the LORD.


My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray; they have turned them away on the mountains; they have gone from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting place.


I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice.


You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord GOD.


You haven't strengthened the diseased, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought back that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor have you ruled over them.


As I live, says the Lord GOD, surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn't feed my sheep;


He said to them, *What man is there among you, who has one sheep, and if this one falls into a pit on the day of Shabbat, won't he grab on to it, and lift it out?


Therefore the Lord answered him, *You hypocrites! Doesn't each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Shabbat, and lead him away to water?


For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.*


Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.


For you were going astray like sheep; but now have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
