The tents of robbers prosper. Those who provoke God are secure, who carry their God in their hands.


God gives them security, and they rest in it. His eyes are on their ways.


Behold, these are the wicked. Being always at ease, they increase in riches.


For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.


Behold, this was the iniquity of your sister Sedom: pride, fullness of bread, and prosperous ease was in her and in her daughters; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.


For she did not know that I gave her the grain, the new wine, and the oil, and multiplied to her silver and gold, which they used for Ba`al.


and others fell on good soil, and yielded fruit: some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.
