Our fathers didn't understand your wonders in Egypt. They didn't remember the multitude of your loving kindnesses, but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Sea of Suf.


They don't know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.


Evil men don't understand justice; but those who seek the LORD understand it fully.


Yes, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds who can't understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.


Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand.


Yeshua spoke all these things in parables to the multitudes; and without a parable, he didn't speak to them,


Yeshua said to them, *Have you understood all these things?* They answered him, *Yes, Lord.*


Without a parable he didn't speak to them; but privately to his own talmidim he explained all things.


I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. But the time is coming when I will no more speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father.


His talmidim said to him, *Behold, now you speak plainly, and speak no figures of speech.


The Judeans therefore contended with one another, saying, *How can this man give us his flesh to eat?*


Therefore many of his talmidim, when they heard this, said, *This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?*


What is this word that he said, 'You will seek me, and won't find me; and where I am, you can't come'?*


They didn't understand that he spoke to them about the Father.


Why don't you understand my speech? Because you can't hear my word.


Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned.


But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, *The dog turns to his own vomit again,* and *the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire.*


We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Yeshua the Messiah. This is the true God, and eternal life.
