I, even I, do bring the flood of waters on this earth, to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is in the earth will die.
Noach was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the earth.
In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
The deep's fountains and the sky's windows were also stopped, and the rain from the sky was restrained.
and that captain answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? and he said, Behold, you shall see it with your eyes, but shall not eat of it:

*Have you entered into the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in the recesses of the deep?
Who can number the clouds by wisdom? Or who can pour out the bottles of the sky,
He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
By his knowledge, the depths were broken up, and the skies drop down the dew.
It will happen that he who flees from the noise of the fear will fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the midst of the pit will be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.
