Now you are commanded: do this. Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
The sons of Yisra'el did so. Yosef gave them wagons, according to the mitzvah of Par`oh, and gave them provision for the way.
They told him all the words of Yosef, which he had said to them. When he saw the wagons which Yosef had sent to carry him, the spirit of Ya`akov, their father, revived.
Par`oh called to Moshe, and said, *Go, serve the LORD. Only let your flocks and your herds stay behind. Let your little ones also go with you.*
