So Abraham rose up in the morning, and taking bread and a bottle of water, put it upon her shoulder, and delivered the boy, and sent her away. And she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Bersabee.


Give orders also that they take wagons out of the land of Egypt, for the carriage of their children and their wives. And say: Take up your father, and make haste to come with all speed.


And the sons of Israel did as they were bid. And Joseph gave them wagons according to Pharao's commandment: and provisions for the way.


They, on the other side, told the whole order of the thing. And when he saw the wagons and all that he had sent, his spirit revived,


And Pharao called Moses and Aaron, and said to them: Go sacrifice to the Lord. Let your sheep only, and herds remain; let your children go with you.


All the flocks shall go with us. There shall not a hoof remain of them: for they are necessary for the service of the Lord our God; especially as we know not what must be offered, till we come to the very place.


So Jacob went down into Egypt; and he died, and our fathers.


How Jacob went into Egypt, and your fathers cried to the Lord: and the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, and brought your fathers out of Egypt: and made them dwell in this place.
