He said, *Behold, it is still the middle of the day, not time to gather the livestock together. Water the sheep, and go and feed them.*


He said to him, *Go now, see whether it is well with your brothers, and well with the flock; and bring me word again.* So he sent him out of the valley of Chevron, and he came to Shekhem.


He asked them of their welfare, and said, *Is your father well, the old man of whom you spoke? Is he yet alive?*


Yo'av said to `Amasa, Is it well with you, my brother? Yo'av took `Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.
