He was a mighty hunter before the LORD. Therefore it is said, *Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.*


In the fourth generation they will come here again, for the iniquity of the Amori is not yet full.*


The LORD said, *Because the cry of Sedom and `Amorah is great, and because their sin is very grievous,


for we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the LORD that the LORD has sent us to destroy it.*


`Er, Yehudah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD. The LORD killed him.


He isn't greater in this house than I, neither has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?*


The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.


He made his son to pass through the fire, and practiced sorcery, and used enchantments, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits, and with wizards: he worked much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.


Unless the LORD of Armies had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sedom; we would have been like `Amorah.


In the prophets of Yerushalayim also I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies; and they strengthen the hands of evil-doers, so that none does return from his wickedness: they are all of them become to me as Sedom, and the inhabitants of it as `Amorah.


Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? says the LORD. Don't I fill heaven and earth? says the LORD.


But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD; and be sure your sin will find you out.


It happened as he sat in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Yeshua and his talmidim.

Even as Sedom and `Amorah, and the cities around them, having, in the same way as these, given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.


and the LORD sent you on a journey, and said, 'Go, and utterly destroy the sinners the `Amaleki, and fight against them until they are consumed.'


The sin of the young men was very great before the LORD; for the men despised the offering of the LORD.
