Gever the son of Uri, in the land of Gil`ad, the country of Sichon king of the Amori and of `Og king of Bashan; and [he was] the only officer who was in the land.


Moreover you gave them kingdoms and peoples, which you did allot after their portions: so they possessed the land of Sichon, even the land of the king of Cheshbon, and the land of `Og king of Bashan.


`Og king of Bashan; for his loving kindness endures forever;


after he had struck Sichon the king of the Amori, who lived in Cheshbon, and `Og the king of Bashan, who lived in `Ashtarot, at Edre`i.


Then Sichon came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Yahatz.


When you came to this place, Sichon the king of Cheshbon, and `Og the king of Bashan, came out against us to battle, and we struck them:


The LORD said to me, Don't fear him; for I have delivered him, and all his people, and his land, into your hand; and you shall do to him as you did to Sichon king of the Amori, who lived at Cheshbon.


The LORD will do to them as he did to Sichon and to `Og, the kings of the Amori, and to their land; whom he destroyed.


They took his land in possession, and the land of `Og king of Bashan, the two kings of the Amori, who were beyond the Yarden toward the sunrise;


Now these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Yisra'el struck, and possessed their land beyond the Yarden toward the sunrise, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Chermon, and all the `Aravah eastward:


and the border of `Og king of Bashan, of the remnant of the Refa'im, who lived at `Ashtarot and at Edre`i,


Their border was from Machanayim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of `Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Ya'ir, which are in Bashan, sixty cities:


and all that he did to the two kings of the Amori, who were beyond the Yarden, to Sichon king of Cheshbon, and to `Og king of Bashan, who was at `Ashtarot.
