And when the mourning was over, David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord.


Then he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became David’s servants. And the Lord gave victory to David wherever he went.


But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold.


Does not he see my ways and number all my steps?


I keep your precepts and testimonies, for all my ways are before you.


If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.


For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.
