But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to recite my statutes or take my covenant on your lips?
And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about it.”
“What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God.”
And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, came out of him.
And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.
And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him down in their midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm.
And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.
She followed Paul and us, crying out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation.”
