The followers obeyed and did the thing Jesus told them to do. They prepared the Passover meal.


At Golgotha, the soldiers gave Jesus wine to drink. This wine was mixed with gall. {\cf2\super [430]} Jesus tasted the wine but refused to drink it.


I tell you the truth. I will not drink this wine again until that day when I drink it in the kingdom of God and the wine is new.”


I will never drink wine again until God’s kingdom comes.”


Even the soldiers laughed at Jesus and teased him. They came to Jesus and offered him some wine.
