“The tax collector {\cf2\super [288]} stood alone too. But when he prayed, he would not even look up to heaven. The tax collector felt very humble before God. He said, ‘O God, have mercy on me. I am a sinner!’


All the people were crying and feeling sad because the girl was dead. But Jesus said, “Don’t cry. She is not dead; she is only sleeping.”


When the people heard this, they felt very, very sorry. They asked Peter and the other apostles, {\cf2\super [41]} “Brothers, what should we do?”
