Acts 3:22
22 Tagairtí Cros

The many people following Jesus answered, “This man is Jesus. He is the prophet {\cf2\super [284]} from the town of Nazareth in Galilee.”

After that, I must go, because all prophets {\cf2\super [249]} should die in Jerusalem.

Jesus said to them, “What are you talking about?”

The law was given through Moses. But grace and \{the way of\} truth came through Jesus Christ.

I am light, and I came into this world. I came so that every person that believes in me would not stay in darkness.

“I tell you the truth. If a person hears what I say and believes in the One (God) who sent me, that person has life forever. That person will not be judged guilty. He has already left death and has entered into life.

Later, Jesus talked to the people again. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. The person that follows me will never live in darkness. That person will have the light that gives life.”

This is the same Moses that said these words to the Jewish people: ‘God will give you a prophet. {\cf2\super [139]} That prophet will come from among your own people. He will be like me.’ {\cf2\super [140]}

The law {\cf2\super [61]} was without power because the law was made weak by our sinful selves. But God did what the law could not do. God sent his own Son to earth with the same human life that other people use for sin. God sent his Son to be an offering to pay for sin. So God used a human life to condemn (destroy) sin.

Those people are the descendants {\cf2\super [74]} of our great fathers. {\cf2\super [75]} And they are the earthly family of Christ. Christ is God over all things. Praise him forever! {\cf2\super [76]} Amen.

But when the right time came, God sent his Son. God’s Son was born from a woman. God’s Son lived under the law. {\cf2\super [48]}

So we must be more careful to follow the things that we were taught. We must be careful so that we will not be pulled away \{from the true way\}.

Then Jesus was perfect. And Jesus is the reason that all those people who obey him can have salvation forever.

This is the revelation {\cf2\super [1]} of Jesus Christ. God gave Jesus these things to show his servants what must happen soon. Christ sent his angel to show these things to his servant John.
