Please hear their prayer in heaven. Hear them when they beg for help. And help them.


And then they will come back to you with all their heart and all their soul in the land where they are prisoners. And they will pray as they look toward their land, the land you gave their ancestors, {\cf2\super [112]} and toward the city that you chose. And they will pray as they look toward the temple {\cf2\super [113]} I built for your name.


Now, my God, I ask you, open your eyes and your ears. Listen and pay attention to the prayers we are praying in this place.


Lord, look at my trials and troubles.\par Forgive me for all the sins I have done.\par


God, you chose your people.\par You chose us to come to your temple\par and worship you.\par And we are very happy!\par We have all the wonderful things\par in your temple, your holy palace.\par


Lord, stop being angry.\par Don’t be mad.\par


But God will get those people back.\par His name is the Lord God All-Powerful.\par He will defend those people very strongly.\par He will defend them so that he can let that land rest.\par But there will be no rest\par for the people living in Babylon.”\par
