Hezekiah was 25 years old when he began to rule. Hezekiah ruled 29 years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abi, [215] the daughter of Zechariah.


The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because in Jehoshaphat’s young life he did the good things his ancestor {\cf2\super [205]} David did. Jehoshaphat did not follow the Baal idols.


Jehoshaphat looked for the God his ancestors {\cf2\super [206]} followed. He followed God’s commands. He did not live the same way the people of Israel lived.


Uzziah did the things the Lord wanted him to do. He obeyed God the same as his father Amaziah had done.


Ahaz was 20 years old when he became king. He ruled 16 years in Jerusalem. Ahaz didn’t live right like David his ancestor. {\cf2\super [317]} Ahaz didn’t do the things the Lord wanted him to do.


Josiah did what was right. He did the things the Lord wanted him to do. He did good things like David his ancestor. {\cf2\super [420]} Josiah did not turn from doing right things.
