Then Elijah prayed, “Lord my God. This widow [195] is letting me stay in her house. Will you do this bad thing to her? Will you cause her son to die?
Please, let’s make a little room on the roof [24] for Elisha. Let’s put a bed in this room. Let’s put a table, a chair, and a lampstand in there. Then when he comes to our house, he can have this room for himself.”
The woman laid the boy on the bed of the man of God [26] (Elisha). She shut the door to that room and went outside.
Elisha went into the house. And there was the child, lying dead on his bed.
While Peter was in Lydda, Tabitha became sick and died. They washed her body and put it in a room upstairs.
