Those from every tribe of Israel who had determined in their hearts to seek the Lord their God followed the Levites to Jerusalem to sacrifice to the Lord, the God of their ancestors.


and many peoples will come and say, ‘Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the  Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us about his ways so that we may walk in his paths.’ For instruction will go out of Zion and the word of the  Lord from Jerusalem.


For there will be a day when watchmen will call out in the hill country of Ephraim, ‘Come, let’s go up to Zion, to the Lord our God! ’


Let’s strive to know the  Lord. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.


Now the people of Bethel had sent Sharezer, Regem-melech, and their men to plead for the Lord’s favour


Many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the Lord of Armies in Jerusalem and to plead for the Lord’s favour.’


The two disciples heard him say this and followed Jesus.
