Don’t boast about tomorrow, for you don’t know what a day might bring.
In the morning sow your seed, and at evening do not let your hand rest, because you don’t know which will succeed, whether one or the other, or if both of them will be equally good.
Whatever your hands find to do, do with all your strength, because there is no work, planning, knowledge, or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.
I have taken off my clothing. How can I put it back on? I have washed my feet. How can I get them dirty?
‘Do not oppress your neighbour or rob him. The wages due a hired worker must not remain with you until morning.
Now also finish the task, so that just as there was an eager desire, there may also be a completion, according to what you have.
