I have not departed from the commands from his lips; I have treasured  the words  from his mouth more than my daily food.


for receiving prudent instruction in righteousness, justice, and integrity;


A discerning son keeps the law, but a companion of gluttons humiliates his father.


My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commands;


Listen, sons, to a father’s discipline, and pay attention so that you may gain understanding,


Listen, my son. Accept my words, and you will live many years.


Always bind them to your heart; tie them round your neck.


My son, obey my words, and treasure my commands.


Doesn’t wisdom  call out? Doesn’t understanding make her voice heard?


Wisdom has built her house; she has carved out her seven pillars.


‘The kingdom of heaven is like treasure, buried in a field, that a man found and reburied. Then in his joy he goes and sells everything he has and buys that field.
