Now the one sown among the thorns #– #this is one who hears the word, but the worries of this age and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Although the king regretted it, he commanded that it be granted because of his oaths and his guests.
For what will it benefit someone if he gains the whole world yet loses his life? Or what will anyone give in exchange for his life?

For know and recognise this: Every sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, who is an idolater, does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Therefore, put to death what belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.
