‘Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a large net thrown into the sea. It collected every kind of fish,
Immediately Jesus spoke to them. ‘Have courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’
Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons approached him with her sons. She knelt down to ask him for something.
Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat with Zebedee their father, preparing their nets, and he called them.
‘Follow me,’ Jesus told them, ‘and I will make you fish for , people.’
So they signalled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them; they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
For he and all those with him were amazed at the catch of fish they had taken,
Simon, whom he also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew;
