Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you. Tie them round your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.


Go now, write it on a tablet in their presence and inscribe it on a scroll; it will be for the future, for ever and ever.


The sin of Judah is inscribed with an iron stylus. With a diamond point it is engraved on the tablet of their hearts and on the horns of their   altars,


The Lord answered me: Write down this vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets so that one may easily read it.


Hearing this, Jesus was amazed and said to those following him, ‘Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with so great a faith.


But the angel said to him, ‘Do not be afraid,  Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard.  Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will name him John.


But his mother responded, ‘No. He will be called John.’
