You must have an unblemished  animal, a year-old male; you may take it from either the sheep or the goats.


‘But if his offering for a burnt offering is from the flock, from sheep or goats,  he is to present an unblemished male.


‘If his offering is a burnt offering  from the herd, he is to bring an unblemished male.  He will bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting so that he  may be accepted by the Lord.


He will present the sheaf before the Lord so that you may be accepted; the priest is to present it on the day after the Sabbath.


Its grain offering is to be four litres  of fine flour mixed with oil as a food offering to the Lord, a pleasing aroma, and its drink offering will be one litre  of wine.


but with the precious blood of Christ,  like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb.
