But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in his name,
No one has ever seen God. The one and only Son, who is himself God and is at the Father’s side #– #he has revealed him.
But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, , and that by believing you may have life in his name.
For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who rejects the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.
‘Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgement but has passed from death to life.
For this is the will of my Father: that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him will have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.’
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died, but even more, has been raised; he also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.
See to it that you do not reject the one who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven.
how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? This salvation had its beginning when it was spoken of by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
Now this is his command: that we believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another as he commanded us.
God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
The one who believes in the Son of God has this testimony within himself. The one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony God has given about his Son.
The one who has the Son has life. The one who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
