John 10:40
5 Tagairtí Cros

All this happened in Bethany  across the Jordan,  where John was baptising.

Jesus therefore no longer walked openly  among the Jews but departed from there to the countryside near the wilderness,  to a town called Ephraim, and he stayed there with the disciples.

Then after that, he said to the disciples, ‘Let’s go to Judea   again.’

So they came to John and told him, ‘Rabbi,  the one you testified about, and who was with you across the Jordan,  is baptising #– #and everyone is going to him.’

After this, Jesus travelled in Galilee,  since he did not want to travel in Judea  because the Jews  were trying to kill him.
