12 Tagairtí Cros

The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the Lord with one voice. They raised their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments,  in praise to the Lord: For he is good; his faithful love endures for ever. The temple, the Lord’s temple, was filled with a cloud.

The cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

When they moved, I heard the sound of their wings like the roar of a huge torrent,  like the voice of the Almighty,  and a sound of tumult like the noise of an army.  When they stopped, they lowered their wings.

The sound of the cherubim’s wings could be heard as far as the outer court; it was like the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.

the thresholds, the bevelled windows,  and the balconies all round with their three levels opposite the threshold #– #were overlaid with wood on all sides.  They were panelled from the ground to the windows (but the windows were covered),

Then the man brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple. I looked, and the glory of the Lord filled his temple.  And I fell face down.

I saw the Lord standing beside the altar,  and he said: Strike the capitals of the pillars so that the thresholds shake; knock them down on the heads of all the people. Then I will kill the rest of them with the sword. None of those who flee will get away; none of the fugitives will escape.

Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant  appeared in his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder,  an earthquake,  and severe hail.

Then the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power,  and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
