‘Be silent before me, coasts and islands! And let peoples renew their strength. Let them approach; let them testify; let’s come together for the trial.


‘Daughter Chaldea, sit in silence  and go into darkness. For you will no longer be called mistress of kingdoms.


‘Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, “This is what the Lord God says: Your  heart is proud, and you have said, ‘I am a god;  I sit in the seat of gods in the heart of the sea.’ Yet you are a man and not a god, though you have regarded your heart as that of a god.


‘Son of man, face Sidon  and prophesy against it.


But the Lord is in his holy temple; let the whole earth be silent in his presence.
