At the end of two years Pharaoh had a dream: he was standing beside the Nile,


Then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, ‘Today I remember my faults.


The king enquired, ‘What honour and special recognition have been given to Mordecai for this act? ’ The king’s personal attendants replied, ‘Nothing has been done for him.’


My relatives stop coming by, and my close friends have forgotten me.


They drink wine by the bowlful and anoint themselves with the finest oils but do not grieve over the ruin of Joseph.
