But he added, ‘You cannot see my face, for humans cannot see  me and live.’


No one has ever seen God. The one and only  Son, who is himself God and is at the Father’s  side   #– #he has revealed him.


The one who has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.   And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father.   I also will love him and will reveal myself to him.’


We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at  , the glory of the Lord  and are being transformed  into the same image  from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.


For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness’,  has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge  of God’s glory  in the face of Jesus Christ.


who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light,  whom no one has seen or can see,  to him be honour and eternal power.  Amen.


while we wait for the blessed hope,  the appearing of the glory  of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.


The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
