Joash was in hiding with her in the Lord’s temple six years while Athaliah reigned over the land.


Amram married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived for 137 years.


The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, a descendant of Levi, born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram: Aaron, Moses, and their sister Miriam.


At this time Moses was born, and he was beautiful in God’s sight. He was cared for in his father’s home for three months.


with the choice gifts of the land and everything in it; and with the favour of him who appeared  in the burning bush. May these rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince of his brothers.


By faith Moses, after he was born, was hidden by his parents for three months, because they saw that the child was beautiful, and they didn’t fear the king’s edict.


So Jesse sent for him. He had beautiful eyes and a healthy,  handsome appearance. Then the Lord said, ‘Anoint him, for he is the one.’
