Deuteronomy 29:15

I will give them integrity of heart  and action  so that they will fear me always, for their good and for the good of their descendants after them.


They will ask about Zion, turning their faces to this road. They will come and join themselves  to the  Lord in a permanent covenant  that will never be forgotten.


For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off,  as many as the Lord our God will call.’


For the unbelieving husband is made holy  by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy by the husband.  Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is they are holy.


‘Indeed, you know how we lived in the land of Egypt and passed through the nations where you travelled.


He did not make this covenant with our ancestors,  but with all of us who are alive here today.
