‘ “Then I passed by you and saw you, and you were indeed at the age for love. So I spread the edge of my garment over you and covered your nakedness.  I pledged myself to you,  entered into a covenant with you #– #this is the declaration of the Lord God  #– #and you became mine.


You are not to have sex with your father’s wife;  she is your father’s family.


If a man sleeps with his father’s wife, he has violated the intimacy that belongs to his father.  , Both of them must be put to death; their death is their own fault.


It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality  among you, and the kind of sexual immorality that is not even tolerated  among the Gentiles   #– #a man is sleeping with his father’s wife.


God judges outsiders. Remove the evil person from among you.   ,


the man who raped her is to give the young woman’s father fifty silver shekels, and she will become his wife because he violated her.  He cannot divorce her as long as he lives.


“The one who sleeps with his father’s wife is cursed, for he has violated his father’s marriage bed.” And all the people will say, “Amen! ”
