Ask and see whether a male can give birth. Why then do I see every man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labour and every face turned pale?


We have heard about it, and our hands have become weak. Distress has seized us – pain, like a woman in labour.


I was left alone, looking at this great vision.  No strength was left in me; my face grew deathly pale,  , and I was powerless.


In the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams  that troubled him, and sleep deserted him.


his face turned pale,  and his thoughts so terrified him that he soiled himself  and his knees knocked together.


When King Herod heard this, he was deeply disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.


Then the kings of the earth, the nobles, the generals, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
