So Moses thought, ‘I must go over and look at this remarkable sight. Why isn’t the bush burning up? ’


Suddenly one with human likeness  touched my lips.  I opened my mouth and said to the one standing in front of me, ‘My lord, because of the vision, anguish overwhelms me and I am powerless.


How can someone like me,  your servant,  speak with someone like you, my lord? Now I have no strength, and there is no breath in me.’


‘This is the end of the account. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts terrified me greatly,  and my face turned pale,  but I kept the matter to myself.’


I, Daniel, was overcome and lay ill for days.  Then I got up and went about the king’s business.  I was greatly disturbed by the vision and could not understand it.


I saw him approaching the ram and, infuriated with him, he struck the ram, breaking his two horns, and the ram was not strong enough to stand against him. The goat threw him to the ground and trampled him, and there was no one to rescue the ram from his power.


I heard, and I trembled within; my lips quivered at the sound. Rottenness entered my bones; I trembled where I stood. Now I must quietly wait for the day of distress to come against the people invading us.


When the disciples  heard this, they fell face down and were terrified.


because he did not know what to say,  since they were terrified.


Indeed, an hour is coming, and has come,   when each of you will be scattered to his own home, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.


especially because of the extraordinary revelations. Therefore, so that I would not exalt myself, a thorn in the flesh  was given to me, a messenger of Satan  to torment me so that I would not exalt myself.


When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man.  He laid his right hand on me and said, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am the First and the Last,
