The boy’s mother said to Elisha, ‘As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.’  So he got up and followed her.


But Naaman insisted, ‘Please, accept seventy kilograms.’  He urged Gehazi and then packed seventy kilograms of silver in two bags with two sets of clothing. Naaman gave them to two of his attendants who carried them ahead of Gehazi.


Please let us go to the Jordan where we can each get a log and can build ourselves a place to live there.’ ‘Go,’ he said.


So he went with them, and when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees.


But now, please look at me; I will not lie to your face.


‘If your presence does not go,’ Moses responded to him, ‘don’t make us go up from here.


So they sat down and the two of them ate and drank together. Then the girl’s father said to the man, ‘Please agree to stay overnight and enjoy yourself.’
