Paul went on to Derbe and Lystra, where there was a disciple named Timothy,  the son of a believing Jewish woman,  but his father was a Greek.


because Macedonia  and Achaia  were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.


Timothy,  my co-worker, and Lucius,  Jason,  and Sosipater,  my fellow countrymen, greet you.


Greet also the church that meets in their home.  Greet my dear friend Epaenetus, who is the first convert  , to Christ from Asia.  ,


Give no offence  to Jews or Greeks or the church of God,


If Timothy comes, see that he has nothing to fear while with you, because he is doing the Lord’s work,  just as I am.


Brothers and sisters, you know the household of Stephanas: They are the firstfruits  of Achaia  and have devoted themselves to serving the saints. I urge you


My love be with all of you in Christ Jesus.


And some of you used to be like this.  But you were washed, you were sanctified,  you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.


For the Son of God,  Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you #– #Silvanus,  , Timothy, and I #– #did not become ‘Yes and no’. On the contrary, in him it is always ‘Yes’.


I call on God as a witness,  on my life, that it was to spare you that I did not come to Corinth.


As the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine will not be stopped  in the regions of Achaia.


For I know your eagerness, and I boast about you to the Macedonians,  ‘Achaia  has been ready since last year’, and your zeal  has stirred up most of them.
