1 Thessalonians 3:4
12 Tagairtí Cros

Take note: I have told you in advance.

After they passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica,  where there was a Jewish synagogue.

But when the Jews from Thessalonica found out that the word of God had been proclaimed by Paul at Berea, they came there too, agitating and upsetting  the crowds.

But I consider my life of no value to myself; my purpose is to finish my course  and the ministry  I received from the Lord Jesus,  to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.

On the contrary, after we had previously suffered  and were treated outrageously in Philippi,  as you know, we were emboldened by our God to speak the gospel of God to you in spite of great opposition.

Don’t you remember that when I was still with you I used to tell you about this?

In fact, when we were with you, this is what we commanded you: ‘If anyone isn’t willing to work, he should not eat.’
