1 Samuel 25:44
5 Tagairtí Cros

Then David sent messengers to say to Ish-bosheth son of Saul, ‘Give me back my wife Michal. I was engaged to her for the price of a hundred Philistine foreskins.’

So Ish-bosheth sent someone to take her away from her husband, Paltiel son of Laish.

Cry aloud, daughter of Gallim! Listen, Laishah! Anathoth is miserable.

Now Saul’s daughter Michal  loved David, and when it was reported to Saul, it pleased him.

David and his men went out and killed two hundred  Philistines. He brought their foreskins and presented them as full payment to the king to become his son-in-law. Then Saul gave his daughter Michal to David as his wife.
