The desire of the righteous turns out well, but the hope of the wicked leads to wrath.
Don’t set an ambush, you wicked one, at the camp of the righteous man; don’t destroy his dwelling.
Many desire a ruler’s favour, but a person receives justice from the Lord.
When a Levite leaves one of your towns in Israel where he was staying and wants to go to the place the Lord chooses,
Then David asked, ‘Will the citizens of Keilah hand me and my men over to Saul? ’ ‘They will,’ the Lord responded.
‘May you be blessed by the Lord,’ replied Saul, ‘for you have shown concern for me.
