You are to drink from the wadi. I have commanded the ravens  to provide for you there.’


The ravens kept bringing him bread and meat in the morning and in the evening,  and he would drink from the wadi.


Then he lay down and slept under the broom tree. Suddenly, an angel touched him.  The angel told him, ‘Get up and eat.’


Then the angel of the Lord   returned for a second time and touched him. He said, ‘Get up and eat, or the journey will be too much for you.’


he will dwell on the heights; his refuge will be the rocky fortresses, his food provided, his water assured.


a woman approached him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume. She poured it on his head as he was reclining at the table.


Then the devil left him, and angels came and began to serve him.


For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.


‘Friends,’   Jesus called to them, ‘you don’t have any fish, do you? ’ ‘No,’ they answered.


When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish lying on it, and bread.
