I will be left to decay like something rotten and like a garment that is being eaten by moths.


I have not concealed your justice within my heart. I have spoken your truth and your salvation. I have not concealed your mercy and your truth from a great assembly.


Behold, the Lord God is my helper. Who is the one who would condemn me? Behold, they will all be worn away like a garment; the moth will devour them.


For the worm will consume them like a garment, and the moth will devour them like wool. But my salvation will be forever, and my justice will be from generation to generation.


A partridge has hatched eggs that she did not lay; a man has gathered riches, but without judgment. In the midst of his days, he will leave it all behind, and he will be foolish concerning his very end."


And I will be like a moth to Ephraim, and like decay to the house of Judah.


Sell what you possess, and give alms. Make for yourselves purses that will not wear out, a treasure that will not fall short, in heaven, where no thief approaches, and no moth corrupts.


For if a man has entered your assembly having a gold ring and splendid apparel, and if a poor man has also entered, in dirty clothing,


unto an incorruptible and undefiled and unfading inheritance, which is reserved for you in heaven.
