I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, that are present here, offer willingly unto thee.


Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising;\par\tab Thou understandest my thought afar off.


Evil devices are an abomination to Jehovah;\par\tab But pleasant words {\i are} pure.


The thought of foolishness is sin;\par\tab And the scoffer is an abomination to men.


let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.


Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: It shall come to pass in that day, that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt devise an evil device:


And Jesus perceiving {\i it} withdrew from thence: and many followed him; and he healed them all,


And they reasoned among themselves, saying, We took no bread.


And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, {\cf6 Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?


Why doth this man thus speak? he blasphemeth: who can forgive sins but one, {\i even} God?


Which is easier, to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?


For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders,


And he said unto them, {\cf6 Why are ye troubled? and wherefore do questionings arise in your heart?


But Jesus perceiving their reasonings, answered and said unto them, {\cf6 Why reason ye in your hearts?


But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man that had his hand withered. {\cf6 Rise up, and stand forth in the midst.} And he arose and stood forth.

But there are some of you that believe not.} For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who it was that should betray him.


But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back {\i part} of the price of the land?


Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray the Lord, if perhaps the thought of thy heart shall be forgiven thee.


And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.\par


And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto each one of you according to your works.
