And I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and all shall eat the flesh of their neighbors in the siege and in the distress with which their enemies and those who seek their life afflict them.


When this people or a prophet or a priest asks you, “What is the burden of the Lord?” you shall say to them, “You are the burden. I will cast you off, says the Lord.”


therefore, I will surely lift you up and cast you away from my presence, you and the city that I gave to you and your ancestors.


He shall come and ravage the land of Egypt, giving those who are destined for pestilence, to pestilence, and those who are destined for captivity, to captivity, and those who are destined for the sword, to the sword.


Surely, parents shall eat their children in your midst, and children shall eat their parents; I will execute judgments on you, and any of you who survive I will scatter to every wind.


My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge! Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me; and since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.


In the whole land, says the Lord, two-thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one-third shall be left alive.


Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if one blind person guides another, both will fall into a pit.”


And seeing a fig tree by the side of the road, he went to it and found nothing at all on it but leaves. Then he said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” And the fig tree withered at once.


“Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that produces its fruits.


Jesus said to them, “The light is in you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going.


Again he said to them, “I am going away, and you will search for me, but you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”


I told you that you would die in your sins, for you will die in your sins unless you believe that I am he.”


Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
