David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan said to David, “Now the Lord has put away your sin; you shall not die.


Do not cover their guilt, and do not let their sin be blotted out from your sight, for they have raged against the builders.


who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,


Happy are those who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times.


Happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways.


Happy are those who make the Lord their trust, who do not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after false gods.


As a deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.


My heart overflows with a goodly theme; I address my verses to the king; my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe.


Why do you boast, O mighty one, of mischief done against the godly? All day long


Fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt; they commit abominable acts; there is no one who does good.


Give ear to my prayer, O God; do not hide yourself from my supplication.


O Lord of hosts, happy is everyone who trusts in you.


You forgave the iniquity of your people; you pardoned all their sin. Selah


Happy are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O Lord, in the light of your countenance;


Come now, let us argue it out, says the Lord: If your sins are like scarlet, will they become like snow? If they are red like crimson, will they become like wool?


I alone am the one who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.


I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.


And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but my Father in heaven.


But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”


Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they will have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.
